Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Covet mobile application, website at shopcovet.ai, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Covet ("we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Covet.

Use of Covet

Covet is an AI-powered shopping assistant that helps you save products and receive notifications when prices change. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or retailer websites through Covet
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond normal app usage
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity

AI-Powered Price Monitoring Disclaimer

Covet uses automated and AI-assisted technology to monitor publicly available pricing information for products you save. While we strive for accuracy, AI and automated systems may occasionally misidentify products, miss price changes, or produce incomplete results.

Price alerts and recommendations provided by Covet are informational only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or purchasing advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether to buy a product and at what price.

We do not guarantee that Covet will detect every price change, sale, or restock event for every saved product.

Price Accuracy Disclaimer

Prices displayed in Covet are sourced from third-party retailers and may not reflect the current price at the time you view the app or complete a purchase. Retailers may change prices, apply promotions, charge shipping or taxes, or modify product availability without notice.

Covet is not responsible for pricing errors, stale data, currency discrepancies, out-of-stock items, or any difference between the price shown in the app and the price on a retailer's website at checkout.

Always verify the final price, availability, and terms directly on the retailer's website before completing a purchase.

Third-Party Retailer Links Disclaimer

Covet may display links to third-party retailer websites where you can purchase saved products. Covet does not operate, control, or endorse these retailers. When you leave Covet and visit a third-party site, you are subject to that retailer's terms, privacy policy, and pricing practices.

We are not responsible for the content, products, services, policies, or conduct of any third-party retailer. Any transaction you enter into with a retailer is solely between you and that retailer.

Covet may receive affiliate commissions or referral fees from certain retailers. This does not affect the price you pay and does not influence which products you choose to save or track.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Covet, you agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws
• Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized account access
• Save and track only products you have a legitimate interest in monitoring
• Not use Covet to harass retailers, circumvent website terms of service, or engage in abusive automated access
• Review price and product information independently before making purchase decisions

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, features, branding, and content created by Covet, is owned by Covet and protected by intellectual property laws. Product images, names, and retailer content displayed in the app remain the property of their respective owners.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Covet does not sell your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that price information will always be accurate or timely.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or purchasing decisions made based on price alerts, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Covet in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

Account Termination

You may stop using Covet and delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@shopcovet.ai or using in-app account deletion where available.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if continued provision of the Service is no longer commercially viable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property — will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Covet after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
